“Inviting a monkey to tea: befriending your mind” is a training course for youth workers. It focuses on developing skills for managing personal and social relationships, which helps youth better integrate into society and improves their mental wellbeing. The course teaches techniques for youth workers to help young people acknowledge and calm their turbulent thoughts and emotions, similar to gently taming a wild monkey. The training includes practical exercises and follows non-formal education methods. To ensure sustainability, the project provides youth workers with practical tools they can use in their daily work. These skills are adaptable to various contexts and can be integrated into different youth programs and community activities. Additionally, the course promotes the development of Erasmus+ partnerships to support future collaborations and initiatives. The project's main goals are to enhance youth workers' skills, promote wellbeing, and establish new partnership opportunities.
